That’s it. I’ve jumped in. For the entire month of October I will be blogging everyday.

It’s part of  Michelle Shaeffer’s Ultimate Blog Challenge. Truth is I’ve been wanting to do this for a

long time and this necessary push has given me the opportunity to live into what I’ve been wanting to do

for years.

My focus as a life coach has been on teaching my clients how to forgive, why to forgive, how to set healthy boundaries vs hard boundaries or no boundaries  and  how to let go of the past so it doesn’t haunt you today- so there will be plenty of that this month.

However, when I thought about a blog title – Musings of a Goddess –  came through. Not Musings of a Forgiveness

Goddess or Forgive and Be Free.

I know why.

Because behind all that ‘work’ is the real reason I teach this and have implemented all those things in my life. Forgiveness and learning how to set healthy boundaries transformed me from ‘being’ (and I use that word loosely and I’ll explain why in another blog post) a heart-broken woman who was suppressing my anger toward my father for killing my mother in 1995 by over-eating and over-exercising and numbing out (think of the myriad of ways there are to do that) into who I am today.

And I love bringing out the goddess in others.

My definition of a goddess is a woman who embraces her inner strength, doesn’t blame anyone for their circumstances (no longer lives as a victim to others), lives a powerful life that adds joy to the world, does service work, embraces her femininity and her masculinity, connects authentically, inspires others and loves herself, expresses herself creativity, allows other people to have their own journey, lets go of judgment as it arises and considers herself beautiful inside and out.

This is why I continue to do the work I do and it is why today I claim the word goddess to describe myself and my blog this month.

I invite you to claim the word for yourself today and live as the goddess that you are.

And men – I Love You Too – embrace your inner god today. It’s very attractive.

Until we meet again,

Brenda
