It’s Week 7 of The Presence Process. This deeply profound book by Michael Brown helps you to connect with this quality of Presence and bring it to every moment of your life. This way when I’m interacting with someone and I get upset or even when I’m by myself (but having a whole other situation playing out in my mind) I can get some distance. I bring the observer forward. The observer can truly see what’s going on in the moment vs expressing itself emotionally because it’s triggered or living in the fantasy of the past or future in my thoughts.

Before this Self-Study of The Presence Process I finished reading an amazing book by Joe Vitale, called Zero-Limits. It’s based on theĀ  ancient healing method created in Hawaii called Ho’ oponopono. This process is called Self-Identity Ho’oponopono.

I became familiar with this ancient healing when I lived in Hawaii in 2008 for several month as I was very active with the Hawaii Forgiveness Community. It was a magical time of performing my one-woman show, My Brooklyn Hamlet, and speaking and leading workshops on the power of forgiveness on Oahu and Maui. Before I left for the mainland I was honored with a Hero of Forgiveness award from The Hawaii International Forgiveness Project.

I’m also currently volunteering at the grad school, The University of Santa Monica. This is where I received my master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology in 2001. This program redefined my life. I assist because being of service is an important aspect of my life and I also receive so much from it. Being there this past weekend led me to go within and look at why I feel like I am not living up to my true potential.

I’ve done so much work over the years and still another layer of healing came forward. It was so deep and it felt new-like these newly uncovered misinterpretations of reality had been hiding from me, very cleverly, in order to keep what I’ve alwasy wanted just out of reach.

I feel incredibly blessed to have uncovered more Truth and released old beliefs that were no longer serving me.

And I look forward to sharing my new learnings with my coaching clients.

The world is waiting for our true potential to be realized.

Blessings,

Brenda Adelman
